Abstract
Potentiometric and conductometric titrations were carried out to get information on the surface charge density of styrene-butyl acrylate copolymer latex. It was established that there are two types of acidic groups present in the polymer latex particles. The effect of electrolyte concentration on the stability of the latex was studied. The values of the critical coagulation constant for the polymer latex have been investigated.
