Clinical and statistical analyses of data collected regarding 35 men chronically exposed to HF fumes for periods of 2-33 yrs., and 11 unexposed office and warehouse workers. Those exposed had a significantly lowered incidence of dental caries. Dental x-rays showed changes in the trabecullar and osseous structure of the jaw bones, also marked radiopacity of all the bones of the skeleton without subjective manifestations of fluoride toxicity. The fluoride excretion in the urine of those exposed had a mean of 10.78 mg./l. of urine as against a mean of 0.67 mg. in the controls. || ABSTRACT AUTHORS: D. C. Lyons
