Abstract
Sediments from four sampling sites are investigated for Cd, Cr, Cu, Zn and Pb in this paper. The concentration of heavy metals in sediments from Harbin section of Songhua river is highest in Hejia channel sampling site, lowest in Flood control monument sampling site. Hejia channel is a major pollution resource, there are also some slight pollution resources along the river. The results of heavy metals pollution evaluation show that Cd pollution is serious in all of the four sampling sites, while Cr, Cu, Pb and Zn is non-pollution or slight-pollution; As for the ecological risk, the potential ecological risk of Cd is very serious, the others are slight; In terms of heavy metal toxicity, all of the five elements present non-toxic, the TU of Cd is highest among them. The contribution of occurrence states of five heavy metal elements is quite different. Except residual form, Cu and Cr mainly exist in Organics and sulphide bound form, Cu and Cr mainly exist in Organics and sulphide bound form, and Cd mainly exist in exchangeable form, Cd shows the biggest instability.
