Abstract
Mixed anhydrides of O-allylbenzohydroximic acid were prepared by acylation of O-allylbenzohydroxamic acid in pyridine using a number of acylating agents: acetyl, benzoyl, p-nitrobenzoyl, anisoyl, p-toluenesulfonyl chlorides. The structure elucidation of the resulting mixed anhydrides was performed by chemical and spectroscopic methods. Attempts to rearrange several mixed anhydrides by heating in dioxane were not successful.<
