Abstract
ASTM C1202 test method is used to study the chloride resistance of concrete containing metakaolin. Chloride permeability of concretes with and without mineral admixture is experimentally compared. Test results indicate that a relationship between the permeability and amount of metakaolin replacement. Results also show that concrete containing slag, silica fume, fly ash and metakaolin have higher resistance to the chloride ingress.
