Abstract
Purpose of this research was the development of an effective alternative to the current ACMs disposal in 2C type dumps from both economical and environmental point of view. The DEPURACQUE process allows turning ACMs into fiber free and dust free inert materials having fit features for deposal authorized from Regions Rules to be conveyed to 2A type dumps. The technology used in this treatment plant is similar to the concrete plants, but it is very different as regards to thp use nf environmental protection measures and tn operator's safety. This treatment plant is a simple one it's has a modular structure, highly automated and needs a reduced manpower. Final products have suitable characteristics for the 2A type dumps. The overall disposal cost (stabilization, transport and 2A type dumps) is considerably lower comparing to the transport and 2C type dumps disposal.
