Abstract
The solution properties of linear alkyl benzene sulphonate (LABS) in water in presence of amino acids have been investigated conductometrically. The critical aggregation concentration (cac) and critical saturation concentration (csc) were determined. It has been observed that at low concentration of surfactant amino acids interact with hydrophilic head group of surfactant molecules and form molecular aggregate/micelle like structure.
