Abstract
Polymetallic and listwaenite-type mineralization from the areas adjacent to the abandoned Kizhnica mine in Kosovo has been investigated. Presence of sphalerite, galena, chalcopyrite, pyrite, stibnite, Pb-Sb sulfosalts (boulangerite, semseyite, chovanite and jamesonite), berthierite, Fe-Mn carbonates and quartz were identified in massive - vein - banded ore. Galena, sphalerite, boulangerite, pyrite, gersdorffite, ullmannite, arsenopyrite, tetrahedrite, pyrrhotite and native Au were confirmed in listwaenite-type of mineralization. The chemical composition of major ore minerals is presented in this paper.
