Darwin, Darwinism and corporate governance: towards a managerial sapienceBusiness administration revolves around "saying" and "doing"; ways of doing things and ways to say what to do are deeply correlated to represent, lead and govern managerial action. A better representation implies that "saying" and "doing" will make better together. Such a dialectic implements, simultaneously, discourses and practices, those that we adopt and those that we show or we will seek to hide. Today, these ways of saying and doing are the subject of meditative attention from policy makers, who consider interests to conciliate, a managerial behavior to regularize and a business performance to improve, and who presume to re-examine underlying concepts beyond Darwin and Darwinism. Indeed, the post-crisis requires a new look, a creative and bolder approach that disciplinary, cognitive and behavioral approaches of corporate governance do not know follow. It involves identifying paths to go after to better create value and therefore to identify the weak points of discourse and practice.
