Abstract
This work has the objective to analyze a real electric grid behavior after the connection of electric vehicles lead-acid batteries chargers. These chargers have an AC / DC conversion system, considering that the batteries are feeding by direct current. However, due to conversion system switching, harmonics are injected in the process, which may represent a power quality problem, depending on its intensity. The electric grid modeling was developed using the software OpenDSS and the results were analyzed using the software Matlab (R), based on the limits established in PRODIST Module 8 and in IEEE Std 519-1992.
