Abstract
The action of Pyridinol Carbamate is studied in the rat during long term Beta-aminopropionitrile treatment, histologically and through plasma and aorta cholesterol assay. PDC reduces the severity of elastic lesions due to BAPN but does not seem to have any effect on the levels of cholesterol of either aorta or plasma. © 1980 The Italian Pharmacological Society.
