Abstract
Investigation of the effect of oxidative stress and the endohelium dysfunction in athletes is a focal trend in the study of factors contributing to the development of cardiomyopathy of overstrain. Long tolerance exercises can negatively affect the anti-oxidant status of athletes. Oxidative stress accompanying sport exercises can be an additional pathogenetic mechanism of tthe endothelium dysfunction. There is an increasing number of papers reporting endothelium dysfunction development iunder the influence of high exercise load in athletes.Relying on the analysis of the special scientific literature this paper reveals the mechanisms of developing the endothelium dysfunction and cardiomyopathy of overstrain resulting from an oxidative stress in athletes. Modern findings of authors from both this country and abroad have been analysed. Basing on the study of the scientific sources describing possible metabolic changes eventually resulting from the oxidizing stress, special attention has been paid to the influence of the oxidative stress on the endothelium function. In its turn, the endothelium dysfunction is a factor decreasing adaptability of the athletesâ cardio-vascular system to physical load, which leads to cardiomyopathy of overstrain development. Correction of the endothelium dysfunction has become a pressing problem of the present. Data of studies of the endotheliocytes functional state criteria, as well as of any ways of medication affecting them can be successfully applied in diagnosing and treating cardiomyopathy of overstrain in athletes. © 2020, Advanced Scientific Research.
