Abstract
The geology of a sill-like carbonatite body is described. The rock types of the complex include metamorphosed gabbro/dolerite, amphibole-apatite carbonatite, biotite/phlogopite carbonatite, dolomitic carbonatite, syenites, lamprophyric rocks and sovites. Modal data for various rock types and associated fenitization are presented, and it is proposed that the rocks were intruded during the Early Tertiary along faults resulting from the collision of the Indian and Eurasian plates. -K.A.B.
