Abstract
The electrochemical characteristics of the plasticized polymer electrolytes composed of acrylonitrile-methyl methacrylate-(oligo oxyethylene) ethyl ether methacrylate terpolymer and liquid electrolyte-solution were investigated The encapsulation of liquid electrolyte in the matrix polymer was found to diminish the passivation of lithium electrode. The ionic conductivities of these systems reached a range of 8.7×10-4∼9.1×10-4S/cm in the presence of 70 wt% of liquid electrolyte solution at room temperature. The polymer electrolytes studied in this work were electrochemically stable up to 5.0 V vs Li.
