Abstract
The insolubility of sugars and fruit acids in MIBK allows the direct extraction of heavy metals by APDC from wine and similar products. With special precautions an accuracy of /+-5% can be obtained for Pb and Cd in the concentration range from 0.1-1 ppm and 1-10 ppb, respectively. Together with our experiences a brief survey of the most recent literature is also presented. © 1976 Springer-Verlag.
