Abstract
Lattice salad: A neutral 2D lattice was converted into a 3D porous network (see figure) through a photochemical [2+2] cycloaddition in a single-crystal-to-single-crystal manner. Both systems present interesting catalytic activity accompanied by a 2D 3D structural transformation induced by the ambient light source. © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
