1. The kinetics of the liquid-phase sulfoxidation of cyclohexane, initiated by dicyclohexylperoxidicarbonate at 75°, was studied. 2. A mechanism was proposed for the process, including a reaction of the cyclohexyl radical with oxygen and of the cyclohexylsulfonyl radical with the wall of the reactor as reactions of chain termination.
