Abstract

1-[(2-Pinen-10-yl)oxy]-3,7-dimethyl-2(E),6-octadiene (1), 1-(2′-isopropyl-5′-methylcyclohexyloxy)-3,7-dimethyl-2(E),6- octadiene (2) and their analogues have been synthesised and the compounds tested on Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus Say. for their juvenile hormone activity.
