In order to effectively clear the streets of the city, as well as small ad graffiti, we developed a emulsion-type paint remover removing the hand-painting of thermoplastic acrylic resin. Single-factor experiment studied the types of organic solvents used, the main, the mass ratio of cosolvent, surfactant type, dosage, the amount of formic acid on the paint stripping efficiency. The experimental results show that: the best paint remover was prepared with butyl acetate as the primary solvent, benzyl alcohol as assistant cosolvent, ABS and OP-10 compound for the surface-active agent, formic acid to promote agent for the volatile paraffin inhibitors. When butyl acetate for 27g, benzyl alcohol for the 9g, ABS for lg, OP-10 for lg, formic acid for the 2g, paraffin for the 6g,the paint remover has bast paint removing effect. In the best formula and the amount of experimental conditions, the area of film that lmL paint remover can erase is 70.65cm2. water content of paint remover were more than 50%, and the remaining components were low toxicity, low volatile substances, readily biodegradable, common market, low costs, in line with the green chemistry "efficient, clean, economic, and environmental protection "requirements.
