Abstract
A new bis-cyclometalated iridium(III) complex, Ir(pcpd)2(acac) used carbazole-pyridazine ligand [pcpd=3-(9-phenyl-977-carbazol-3-yl)-6- methylpyridazine, acac=acetylacetone], was synthesized and used as an emitter in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). For the device with ITO/HIL001/HTL001/ CBP:Ir(pcpd)2acac (12.3%)/TPBi/AlQ/LiF/Al, the maximum brightness was 19656 cd/m2, the maximum efficiency was 14 cd/A and the maximum luminescence spectra was 580 nm. The results showed that this complex had a strong phosphorescent character.
