Abstract
With the recognition that the domestic industry is being injured because of the dumped imports, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced antidumping duties on imports of Carbazole Violet Pigment 23 from China and India as well as countervailing duties against India. This announcement is the first for the pigment industry, effectively protecting the manufacturing companies and their employees. In fact, these duties are seen as the only tool remaining to fight unfair imports.
