Abstract
Two-stage carcinogenesis of mouse skin papillomas induced by 7,12-dimethyl-benz [a] anthracene and 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate (TPA), and by peroxynitrite and TPA, were inhibited by 2-(2, 3, 6-trihydroxy-4-carboxyphenyl)ellagic acid isolated from the fruits of Caesalpinia ferrea.
