Abstract
The authors present a new mathematical treatment to this problem, one which accommodates excimer dissociation in the context of time-dependent excimer formation rate coefficient k(t). The results of this paper can be used for excimer formation in aromatic molecules and vinyl polymers. A numerical analysis is conducted of excimer formation and energy migration.
