Abstract
Medicinal plants treating certain diseases with different etiologies have been used a lot throughout the history, yet despite such long time of use, there is no one of such bio-active plant compounds were used as antibiotics in clinical uses. Ginger and green tea are some of the anti-bacterial foods, which are used a lot in western diets. Ginger has been specified as a plantâs rhizome, Zingiber officinale is wholly consumed as a spice, medicine, or delicacy, it is lending its name to the family and genus (Zingiberaceae). Gingerols are increasing the gastrointestinal tractâs motility, also have anti-bacterial, sedative, analgesic, and antipyretic properties. The dried rhizome (root) regarding the ginger plant has been collected from local market and were repeatedly washed under running distilled water dray in the oven in 250C making powder. The bacterial strains have been kept on the nutrient agar and fungi are maintained on a Glucose nutrient agar slant, or further use. Our results examined the phylochemical Screening of Tanning, Saponing, Terpenes and Anthraquinones. Antimicrobial activity, there has not been any considerable difference in the effects of reagent and concentration of ginger on the inhibition area of the bacteria as well as fungi while the concentration of ginger powder had a considerable impact on the inhibition zone regarding the organism. There was a significant increase in the zone of inhibition as the concentration increased in Bacilluse sublilis recorded the highest zone of inhibition 5mm comparatively E. coli are resistance to reagent concentration. The reagent Ethenol & Hexane are slitelly greater effects on zone of inhibition. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MSC) showed distil water concentration. © 2020
