Abstract
An analytical method was developed for the determination of β-lactamase inhibitor clavulanic acid in milk by high performance liquid chromatography. The sample was deproteinized by acetonitrile and degreased by n-hexane. The chromatographic conditions was chosen Hypersil ODS-2 C18(4.6 mmÃ250 mm,5 μm) chromatographic column using 0.025 mol/L of potassium dihydrogen phosphate(pH 4.5)-methanol(95 : 5,V/V) as mobile phases, detection wavelength was 217 nm and velocity was 1 mL/min. The results that the calibration curve showed perfect linear in the range of 5~200 μg/mL and the correlation coefficient is 0.9992. Matrix-matched calibration standard was used for the quantification. The average recoveries ranged from 83% to 92% with relative standard deviation less than 1.185%. With the advantages of convenience, sensitivity, reliable and accurate results, the method was suitable for the detection of β-lactamase inhibitor clavulanic acid in milk. © 2018, Editorial Office of Journal of CIFST.
