The effects of column geometry, flow, and rotation rate on dispersed phase holdup were investigated for the methyl isobutyl ketone-water and kerosene-water systems with and without mass transfer. A correlation based on dimensional analysis is obtained, which is in good agreement with present as well as earlier data.
