Abstract
High density polyethylene(HDPE) speciality resin 1508S for bicomponent fibers was synthesized by slurry polymerization with ethylene as main raw material, 1-butene as comonomer, hydrogen as relative molecular mass regulator and hexane as solvent in the presence of high efficient Ziegler-Natta catalyst. The special-purpose assistants were added in accordance with the specific recipe in the production of the resin. The product could satisfy the market demand for speciality resin for bicomponent fibers.
