Abstract
1. 1. Conductivity measurements have been performed for LiCl, LiBr, LiClO4 and Guanidin nitrate in Cyclohexanol as solvent at concentrations between 0.00001 and 0.001 mole per liter. The equivalent conductivity is found by extrapolating. 2. 2. The temperature coefficient of the specific conductivity is determined for LiCl at two concentrations. 3. 3. The viscocity of cyclohexanol has been measured at different temperatures. 4. 4. The square root relation of Kohlrausch was found to hold for guanidine nitrate only. 5. 5. No agreement was found between the experiments and the Debye-Onsager theory. The conductivity measurements were performed more than a year ago while I was a Research Fellow of the Bartol Research Foundation and of the American-Scandinavian Foundation. © 1929.
