Abstract
A 'model graft network' in which the length of side chain and network segment is the same has been synthesized by copolymerization of polyethylene glycol 800 monomethacrylate and polyethylene glycol 800 bismethacrylate. The conductivities of networks containing LiClO4 at varied temperatures were measured. The relationship between conductivity and side chain content in networks was studied and the contribution of side chain to conductivity was proposed.
