Abstract
N-hexane transformation on platinum high-silica zeolite was studied. Rate and selectivity of interconversions of movo- and di-branched isomers were also considered. Hydroisomerization passed according to bifunctional scheme. Carbonium-ions on acid centers of zeolite turned out to be a result of protonation of olefins formed on metallic centers of platinum. Effect of pressure and of presence time of raw material on the catalyst on isomer formation rate was studied. Equilibrium isohexane yield was possible on the catalyst, though the process was highly problematic in case of reprocessing of real hexane fractions.
