Abstract
The Korean deep seabed has deposits of several useful mineral resources such as red clay, calcareous ooze, heavy metals, and polymetallic sulphide nodules. In particular, polymetallic manganese modules, containing more than 40 metals, can be commercially exploited. The policy problem discussed in the study is to find the best way for Korea to participate in the exploitation of deep seabed resources under the newly established Law of the Sea regime.-after English summary
