Abstract
The results of the authors' experiments indicate that the ability of the lymph node cells to induce sensitivity to DNCB is not merely dependent upon supplying antigen. The 1-hour cells depressed the ability of the 24-hour cells to induce contact sensitivity. At present the mechanism of the suppression by the 1-hour cells is unknown. Further studies have to be done in this experimental area.
