Abstract
A falling-body instrument for the measurement of the viscosity of liquids is described together with an apparatus for the measurement of density. Viscosity and density data are presented for the binary liquid system n-hexane-cyclohexane in the temperature range 25-100 degree C at pressures up to 500 MPa. The data are used to examine the influence of temperature and pressure on rules for determining the viscosity of liquid mixtures. Refs.
