Abstract
Three small observational trials on the control of Oxal is semiloba are described. PCP, simazine, 2, 4, 5-T, trichlorobenzoic acid, MCPA, EPTC and maleic hydrazide were ineffective; ammonium sulphamate at high rates, monuron and fenac were partially effective. The most promising herbicide tested was amitrole at rates of 2½ lb. per acre or more, but its effectiveness may depend upon its formulation. © 1961, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
