Abstract
Data on the dependence of density, viscosity, and surface tension on concentration at various temperatures, required for description of many processes of hydro-dynamics and heat and mass transfer, were obtained for the binary systems-benzene- toluene, benzene- cyclohexane, benzene-n- heptane, methanol- ethanol, acetone- carbon tetrachloride, carbon tetrachloride-toluene, carbon tetrachloride- ethanol, ethanol-benzene, n- hexane- benzene, methanol- water, ethanol-water, and acetone- water. It is shown that Panchenkov's formula can be used, correct to plus or minus 2%, for interpolation of viscosity data in the temperature range studied for all systems, and for extrapolation to the boiling points for systems not containing water.
