Abstract
1. The kinetic and thermodynamic parameters of reaction (1) in various solvents were obtained. 2. The rate constant for the dimerization reaction of PhO decreases in the solvent series; hexane, CCl4, toluene, dioxane, CHCl3. 3. The dimerization of PhO·in all of the investigated solvents is limited by diffusion. © 1977 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
