Abstract
Reports on the preparation of some chiral low-spin d[sup 6] Ru(II) complexes by stereoselective reaction of a mesitylene complex of an optically active bidentate pyridinecarboxylic acid derivative. Formation of only a single product under kinetic control in the ring-closing ligand substitution process.
