Abstract
Applications of magnetic resonance (MR) methods to the study of effects of electrical shock on tissue are discussed. Potential clinical application of MR methods to diagnosis and treatment of electrical injury is considered. Proton MR imaging, MR imaging of blood flow, phosphorus-31 (31P) MR spectroscopy, and sodium MR imaging are discussed.
