Abstract
Field trials were conducted during 2001-2002 to test the efficacy of carbosulfan (Marshal 25® EC) against Brinjal whitefly Bemisia tabaci. Carbosulfan was tested at 200, 250 and 300 g a,i./ha and compared with a standard insecticide endosulfan 35 EC @ 350 g a.i./ha and untreated check. The results indicated that carbosulfan 25 EC at 250 and 300 g a.i./ha was found to be effective in controlling Brinjal whitefly.
