Abstract
The working principle of a gravimetric loop, i.e. the circulation due to the difference of weight of two vertical columns in a closed two-phase loop, is shortly outlined. Afterwards a water-Freon 11 loop for the generation of 1000 kW power is examined in greater detail. As a conclusion some results obtained with a small experimental loop are given. © 1971.
