Abstract
1. The temperature dependency of initial rates of hydrogen and hexatriene formation by ultraviolet light irradiation of benzene solutions in 3 -methylpentane, methylcyclohexane, and cyclohexane was studied. 2. The data obtained support previously presented ideas that the photosensitization of benzene and hydrocarbon cleavage are processes independent of substituted hexatriene formation. 1965 Consultants Bureau Enterprises Inc.
