Abstract
1. Migrational copolymerization of hexamethylene diisocyanate with 2,3-dioxypropyl crotonate yielded linear polyurethanes with unsaturated side chains, these being residues of a monomer capable of copolymerization. 2. The molecular weight of the polyurethanes obtained progressively increased as the amount of initial hexamethylene diisocyanate approximated to the equivalence level. 3. There was a linear relationship between the refractive index of the polyurethanes and their hexamethylene diisocyanate content. 1970 Consultants Bureau.
