Abstract
1. A chemiluminescence method of determining the rate constant of quadratic recombination of peroxide radicals in reactions with a low luminescence yield was proposed and theoretically substantiated. 2. The method was tested on hydrocarbons with strongly differing values of the luminescence yields: cumene, cyclohexane, and toluene. The values obtained for the rate constants are in good agreement with the literature data. 3. The proposed method was used to determine the rate constant of quadratic recombination of peroxide radicals of n-decane. 1975 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
