Abstract
By using a ruby laser and a fluorescence of an organic dye excited by the second harmonic radiation of the laser, inverse Raman spectra near the region of 3000 cm-1Raman shift are observed for various kinds of organic liquids, benzene, cyclohexane, acetone, methyl alcohol and xylene. Quantitative measurements of the absorption intensity are also made by photoelectric detection. The results are in good agreement with the theory of inverse Raman effect in a wide range of the intensity of the ruby laser which we used. 1972, IOP Publishing Ltd.
