The need of revision of the Classification of fields reserves, prospective probable resources of oil and combustible gases of 2005 is marked. The conclusion Is drawn, that the adoption of the considered project of the new classification of reserves with some proposed supplements will promote the further reproduction of the mineral resource base and development of petroleum production In the country.
