Abstract

This is a brief report on a technical conference weld in the Soviet Union, 1973, devoted to the use of gas chromatographic analysis in petroleum and petrochemical industries. In the course of the conference, consideration was given to 34 papers dealing with questions in the development of theory and new chromatographic methods, the application of gas chromatography in petrochemistry and the prospects for broader use, information and personnel training in gas chromatography for the petrochemical industry and many other topics. Some paper contents are summarized.
