Abstract
The process characteristics of ethylene cracking to ethylene, latest progress in process research and application of ethane cracking units in the world are briefly described. Through analysis and comparison, ethane is one of the most potential raw materials to replace petroleum resources for ethylene production, and the ethane cracking to produce ethylene route has many advantages and good development prospects. © 2020, China National Chemical Information Center.
