Abstract
Polyaniline obtained by chemical oxidative polymerization was treated with different organic solvents, namely methanol, chloroform, tetrahydrofuran (THF), benzyl alcohol. All obtained fractions were characterized with FTIR, WAXS, DSC, TGA, and elemental analyses. Fractions obtained from methanol, chloroform and THF, differ chemically from each other and are side reaction products or oligomers. Washing out those fractions seems to be crucial for repeatability of properties of the final product.
