Abstract
Methods used to measure radon (10043922) and thoron (22481487) daughter mixtures in uranium mines are reviewed. The use of alpha spectrometry, a portable three channel alpha spectrometer, track etch films, and a commercial apparatus based on a prototype spark counter is discussed.
