The voltammetric behavior of leucovorin (folinic acid, LV), as an important metabolite of folic acid, has been investigated in this paper. Mercury meniscus modified silver solid amalgam electrode (m-AgSAE) as a working electrode in connection with differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) was applied for monitoring of electrochemical reduction of leucovorin. The limit of detection was found as 1.84x10(-8) M (t(acc) = 60s). Proposed method was successfully applied for LV determination in a drug which is used as an antidote during methotrexate treatment.
